How to Celebrate Galentine's Day with Your Girl Squad

Get Crafty

Grab a few paints and canvases from the Dollar Tree and either find a picture on the internet to inspire your guests. Otherwise leave it open to a freestyle painting session.

You could make jewelry, knit or crochet a small project or anything else that is crafty. Not everyone is an artsy person, but everyone has a good time, chatting and relaxing and expressing themselves.

The Food

This one is a lot of fun for me. I love a theme and hearts for February, are everywhere leading up to Galentine's! This year I made a strawberry shortcake and heart shaped pizza. I also bought some premade sugar cookies that had cute little pink and red hearts, as well as some chocolates that were Valentine themed.

Movie

You can always have a plan to watch a chick-flick together! Grab your junk food, pizza and pop some popcorn. This relieves the pressure from constant socializing. As an introvert, I LOVE when a host has something to take a break from loads of conversations. It's also great for your extroverted friends too! They can continue the conversation throughout the movie if desired :)

Gifts/Notes

I always like to collect a few, inexpensive items to gift at Galentine's Day, something that feels like the person I'm gifting to or something that encourages them to find time to relax! You could also write out little love notes to your gals! This is just as meaningful, and what is better than lifting up our favorite women in our lives.

Decor

Over the years I've done a few different things for Galentine's Day. In recent years I've landed on rose gold accents, pink table runner and napkins, and heart shapes throughout.

You could add balloons, streamers, banners and flowers too. I like keeping things simple, but you can go as big as you'd like to.
