It's November and whether you're getting into the Thanksgiving spirit or you're already thinking about Christmas, you probably are missing something.
Potpourri is a natural and simple way of dispensing beautiful aromas in your home. Plus it's downright pretty to look at!
I was home one day and was craving some holiday cheer, specifically the smells of the holiday season.
I took to the internet and found this perfect potpourri recipe:
1 cup fresh cranberries
1 orange (sliced or quartered)
2-3 cinnamon sticks
2-3 teaspoons whole cloves
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Place all ingredients in a pot and add 4-6 cups of water. Turn the stovetop burner to low and simmer for as long as you desire (adding more water as needed)
The aroma reminds you of being home for the holidays and I find it cheers me up in a jiffy 😉
What holiday traditions and recipes are you starting to get in the mood for?
