Dollar Store Organization

Recently the Dollar Store has received high praise from the crafty community. Maybe you have noticed videos popping up on your social media platforms stating DOLLAR TREE HACKS or TRANSFORM DOLLAR STORE ITEMS INTO CLASSY HOME DECOR. I have always found the dollar stores to be useful, inexpensive and a perfect fit for a family with a budget!

In today's post I am going to go through my top picks from my local dollar store and show you how I use them to get and stay organized, for cheap!

Buckets:

I found these simple locker buckets for $1 a piece and have used them in a couple different places!

The first place was the kitchen. I struggled for so long trying to organize our silicone baking mats, dessert molds and E-Cloths! These buckets were the perfect size to organize and store neatly into our cupboard.

The other place I found these to be handy was in my craft room. It worked out really well over the summer when I had the girls over. It kept the crafting supplies organized and easy to find for their various projects. You could also use these as toy or clothing storage in a playroom or bedroom on a cubby shelving unit!

Drawer Organizers:

Another item you can use to help keep things tidy are silverware holders. They do wonders for busy/junk drawers. Check out the transformation below!

I also found these square trays worked really well with helping me organize our bathroom drawers. They help keep the small clutter contained and keeping a theme within your trays and boxes helps to maintain the tidiness throughout the year.

Stackable Baskets:

These were a great find at the Dollar Tree, and because they are each $1 I picked up 6 of them. You can use them to organize your bathroom vanity...

...Or stack them neatly next to your work area to help keep planners, papers and other office essentials in order...

...Another idea would be to use them in the kitchen to separate your fruits and vegetables for an inexpensive fruit basket...

...They also work as daily snack bins for your kids! Or to keep your fridge organized!

In total I spent $23!!! Proving you don't need to buy elaborate and fancy organizers to keep your home in tip-top-tidy shape! Let me know if you were able to recreate these hacks or were able to find something similar at your dollar stores! Comment below if you'd like me to show you a tutorial on making some of these bins and boxes look chic for cheap!
